The ACCA Secretariat is pleased to convene its 3rd General Assembly, which is set to take place from 6-7 July 2016 in Pretoria, South Africa. This event will be the first stand-alone General Assembly since its inception meeting in Ghana, November 2013.

The ACCA Annual General Assembly seeks to establish itself as one of the key events on the business and human rights calendar in Africa. This event will see the launch of the two work streams, focusing on Access to Remedies and Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC).


  1. Present and adopt ACCA Norms and Procedures;
  2. Present ACCA Strategic and Action Plan;
  3. Adopt Terms of Reference and form 2 ACCA Thematic Working Groups on Access to Remedy and Free, Prior and Informed Consent; and
  4. Build understanding and relationships among African civil society organisations working to further corporate accountability, in order to foster greater support for each other’s work and mutual collaboration.
